bboxWhat are bitty bags?
Bitty bags are wine boxes filled with the off cuts from our mat cutting room.

Contents.
Each bitty box is full of small pieces of mat & foamcore. The type of off cuts you get, will change wildly from one box to another depending on what we were doing at the time that we filled it. Please be aware that all Constance are random, and that you may be happier with some boxes than others.
Nearly everything we put in the boxes is acid free and is therefore good to paint or draw on. Most of the mat used is white, or some variant of white. There are occasional splashes of colour, though these are a minority.
The size of things in the boxes vary from a few millimetres square, up to about 230x300mm.

Exchange.
To keep costs down we ask people to bring in the same quantity of wine boxes as they want to pick up. For example, if you wanted to pick up 3 bitty boxes, please bring with you 3 empty wine boxes. Please make sure they are in reasonable condition as they will eventually be given to someone else full of bits. If you are not a drinker, you can still pick up the empty boxes from any good bottle shop.
We charge $5.50 per box, which can consist of between $10-$100 worth of chopped full sheets by weight. We offer small discounts on quantity & for schools. Though the nominal fee of $5.50 is more to pay for the time of filling the boxes than the bits themselves.

Best used for.
Architectural models
Painting
Birthday cards

CAUTION!
Mats that are cut with a standard mat cutter leave a sharp edge that can paper cut the unwary. Be mindful when letting small fingers use them.

Tough cutting Mat & foamcore needs to be cut with a razor blade in order to get a clean edge. If you are giving bitty bag bits to small children, suggest they don't cut, or simply rip the boards.
